My publications explore the relationships between archaeology, infrastructure, and historical landscapes, with a particular focus on the cultural and political consequences of development projects in Turkey and the Middle East. Combining historical analysis, ethnography, and the study of visual and archival sources, this work examines how archaeological knowledge, heritage preservation, and historical memory are reshaped by infrastructures such as dams and by the politics of the past.
